Claims we handle
Hail & Wind Damage Claims
Storm damage isn’t always visible from the ground. We inspect, document and present your loss so your claim reflects the full scope of repairs your policy may cover.
Why hail and wind claims get disputed
Hail bruising, lifted shingles and wind creases can be easy to miss, and carriers don’t always agree with a property owner (or a contractor) about what a storm actually caused.
Disagreements usually come down to scope and cause: whether a roof can be repaired or needs to be replaced, which slopes and exterior components were damaged, how repairs are priced, and how your deductible applies. A separate wind or hail deductible is common on many policies.
Having your own licensed adjuster document the loss and speak the same language as the carrier’s adjuster can help make sure nothing is overlooked.
Common signs of storm damage

Our process
We Handle the Claim. You Handle Everything Else.
01
Inspect & Document
We evaluate the property and document the full extent of the damage.
02
Review
We review your policy, the carrier’s estimate and existing documentation.
03
Prepare
We develop the scope, estimate and supporting documentation for the loss.
04
Represent
We communicate with the insurance carrier and participate in the adjustment process on your behalf.
05
Resolve
We work through differences in scope, pricing and documentation toward resolution of the claim.
Before you file or repair
Document first
Photograph damage before temporary repairs, and keep every receipt. Your policy generally expects reasonable steps to prevent further damage.
Mind the deadlines
Policies and states set different time limits for reporting a loss and for disputing a decision. Don’t wait to find out which apply to you.
Read before you sign
Be careful with anything that assigns your claim or benefits to someone else. Ask questions first, and call us if you’re unsure.
Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to file a hail or wind claim?
Deadlines vary depending on your policy and the state where the property is located. Most policies require you to report a loss promptly and may include additional requirements or time limits. If you suspect hail or wind damage, contact us as soon as possible so we can review your policy and claim circumstances.
Do you replace my roofer?
No. We handle the insurance claim, while your roofer or contractor handles the repair work. We’re happy to work alongside the contractor of your choice to help ensure the documented scope of damage is clearly presented to the insurance carrier.
Can you help if my claim is already open?
Often, yes. You do not have to hire a public adjuster before filing a claim. We can review an existing claim, carrier estimate, partial approval, or denial and determine how we may be able to assist. In general, getting us involved earlier gives us more opportunity to document the loss and help manage the claim process.
What does a public adjuster cost?
Public adjusters are typically paid a percentage of the claim proceeds. At All Storm Adjusting, our fee generally ranges from 10% to 30%, depending on the type and complexity of the claim, the services required, and applicable state requirements. Your exact fee will be discussed upfront and clearly stated in your written agreement before you hire us.
Can you guarantee a higher settlement?
No. Every claim is different, and no public adjuster can guarantee a specific outcome or settlement amount. What we can do is thoroughly evaluate and document your loss, prepare an accurate scope, present the claim to your insurance carrier, and advocate for the full amount you are entitled to under your policy.
Request a claim review.
Tell us what happened. We’ll look at your situation and explain your options. There is no cost to talk.
